Lithium Fluoride
Lithium fluoride, LiF, is a crystalline ionic solid salt which will transmit UV more readily and efficiently than any other known substance. With its wide transmission range it can also transmit infrared radiation.
Properties:
- Transmission 0.11µm to 9.0µm
- Refractive index of 1.4
- Sensitive to thermal shock and is attacked by atmospheric moisture.
